The Manifest
YART BIRDS is a commune of artists and friends. They will migrate together into the outdoor environment, in a neighborhood ambient, where friends, neighbors, curious people are invited to come and see and experience a different show, event, a space for art. In a casual way, non important and non official – but in an exciting and fun manner. It wants to gather those who usually don't want to rush to galleries and those who like to rush through galleries... fun talking in yards about art.
Planned are three YART BIRDS MIGRATIONS. In the beginning of Summer, in the middle and then during the end of Summer sometime. A BBQ will be held in the yard of the migrating birds.
The YART BIRDS will be displaying their art.
A fraction of the art that is sold, which the YART BIRDS will agree on, would be put into the MIGRATION piggy bank to finance the next BBQ and panels (at a later point money made, could be contributed to a neighborhood community center or after school programms). The MIGRATION can be held over a couple of days, depending of the weather. This would provide a great flow of migration.
